I've been thinking about it for a while and I think that searchographer is the word that I like best (it doesn't mean that it is the right one) to name those who use internet as source to create their projects. Lately I heard many people saying that that process in which the work of art is made through online interaction, manipulation and appropriation cannot be called photography. For those who don't like hearing that Doug Rickard, David Horvitz or Corinne Vionnet among others, are considered photographers and with the purpose to avoid dirty looks, I made up the word searchography. I don't have a clear opinion about it yet, I need more time to think about the From Here On exhibit that I saw last weekend at Les Encontres de Arles. Summer break is going to be the perfect time for that. Thank you again to all who have read this blog on its firsts moths and I hope to keep having you around in September.

Have a great summer!
